Building World-Class AI Research in Southeast Asia
Kreasof AI was founded with a simple belief: frontier AI research doesn't have to come exclusively from labs in North America or Europe. We're proving that world-class research can emerge from anywhere — including Jakarta, Indonesia.
We are an independent, curiosity-driven research lab. We don't have a predetermined research agenda or social mission to fulfill. Instead, we pursue technically rigorous problems that interest us, publish openly, and let our work speak for itself.
Our first major milestone — acceptance at ICLR 2026 — is just the beginning. We're building research infrastructure and capability in a region that has been historically underrepresented in top-tier AI venues.
